Participants below the age of 18 are required to obtain parental/guardian’s consent and complete the relevant indemnity declaration form as deemed necessary by the Organiser upon registration, failing which, the Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any applicant under the age of 18.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify or substitute any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time as it deems fit. If there is ambiguity in any of the provisions, the Organiser shall be the authority to interpret and in doing so, the Organiser will take into account the interests of all the affected Participants.
Any updates on the Terms and Conditions will be notified on the official Event’s website (https://reserve.putuovillage.com.my/en#termsncondition), and it is the responsibility of all Participants to keep abreast with any changes.
Completion of the official online registration, confirms the Participant’s agreement to abide by all the Terms and Conditions for the Event.
Registration for the event is only confirmed upon issuance of a reservation acknowledgment slip via email.
The Participant shall complete the Online Registration and the number of seat reservation is limited to 10 pax per reservation.
The Organiser and partner reserves the right to use any photographs (including those of Participants), motion pictures, recordings, or any other media records of the Event, for any legitimate purpose including commercial advertising and distribution to sponsors anywhere in the world without any notification and/or payment to the Participants.
The following group of persons shall not be eligible to participate in the Event’s lucky draw session, employees of the Organiser including its affiliated and related companies, distributors, representatives, vendors, sponsors and/or agents of advertising and/or promotion service providers of the Organiser including its affiliated and related companies and their immediate family members.
The Organiser reserves the right to change the prizes/gifts to other prizes of the same value at any point of time without prior notice. The prizes are non-transferable and all prizes/gifts are given on an “as is” basis and are not exchangeable for any other form, i.e. cash, goods, credit or services in part or in full. Pictures of the prizes/gifts shown in the promotional materials are for illustration purposes only. Actual prizes/gifts may differ from the pictures shown.
All other expenses not covered by the prizes/gifts shall be borne by the participants at their own cost.
Adherence to reservation timings
- Participants have 20 minutes in the temple.
- Participants who arrived later than the reserved timing, will be slot into the following batch if there are seats available; otherwise have to line up in the public waiting line.
Free Gift
- Participants registered online will be given a free gift, limited stocks.
- All participants must present their original identification document (such as Digital/Hardcopy Reservation Confirmation) for verification upon entry and during the collection of their free gift. Representatives will not be entertained.
- Free gift will be distributed to the entitled online registrants upon confirmation by the organizer. Changes and Announcements made by the organizer during the event shall be deemed final.
Disputes over Entrance Eligibility & Free Gift
For disputes over entrance eligibility and free gift, appeals over disputes must be made onsite in person with event officals in the designated office, event organizer's decision is final.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone or change the venue, date and time of the event should unforeseen circumstances occur. The organizer shall not be liable for any direct, or indirect, consequential or special damages that may be incurred due to such cancellation, including, but not limited to, airfare, hotel expenses, cancellation penalties, and any other private expenses.
Should the participant cancel his/her registration/participation in the event or is unable to
attend the event due to any unforeseen circumstances, the following shall apply subject to
the participant’s notification of such cancellation to the organizer in email writing:
1. If notification of cancellation is given 1 week prior to the start of the event, the seats reserved could be transferred to other names stated in the email.
2. If notification of cancellation is given less than 7 working days prior to the start of the event,
there shall be no transfer of the seats reserved.
The organizer reserves the right to amend or substitute any of the above from time to time
as they deem fit.
It is the participant’s responsibility to respect the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1998 and SOP in Malaysia.
For subscribers, it is a condition of acceptance to the collection, collation, use and/or disclosure of all the Personal Information by us for the purposes of you subscribing to the package. By subscribing, you signify your agreement.
For other individuals/Putuo Village members, we may gather your information during member registrations and business activities. It will only be used for legitimate interests.
For business associates/partners, it is a condition of acceptance to the collection, collation, use and/or disclosure of all the Personal Information by us for the purposes of you in business contracts or transactions.
We only keep Personal Information for as long as is necessary to satisfy the specified Purposes for which it was collected. We retain Personal Information in accordance with our own guidelines, procedures and principles and in line with applicable legislation.
We may disclose your Personal Information to a Vendor (often referred to as the data processor). "Vendor" in relation to Personal Information means any person or entity (other than an employee of Putuo Village) who processes the Personal Information on behalf of us. "Processing", in relation to Personal Information means for example obtaining, recording, holding or using the Personal Information in carrying out any operation or set of operations on the Personal Information including organisation, compilation, retrieval disclosure of the Personal Information for verification purposes. These Vendor(s) will treat your Personal Information as confidential, in accordance with all applicable Data Protection legislation and will process such Personal Information only for the Purposes and within the terms set out herein.
We may disclose your Personal Information if we are required to do so by law or requirement of a competent authority.
In addition to the above, we may, from time to time work on specific initiatives with carefully selected third party companies/organisations (outside of Putuo Village) to share opportunities with you. If this opportunity should arise, we will inform you at the time of such initiatives that, if you decide to submit any Personal Information, it will be shared with those selected companies/organisations and we will only do so with your prior consent.
You will always be given the opportunity to consent (opt in) to your information being shared pursuant to the above, and the selected companies/organisations will be sufficiently identified to allow you to make an informed decision. If you do consent (opt in) and subsequently visit such companies'/organisations' websites, we cannot control how they use or otherwise process any Personal Information you provide directly to them. We always encourage you to check their sites' terms and conditions and privacy policy before you give out any Personal Information.
Opt In: Putuo Village and partner will not use your Personal Information for a purpose that has not previously been specified, unless we have previously obtained your consent or unless such purpose is required by law. Consent to provide Personal Information is not a condition for our selling a product to you, unless the information requested is required to fulfill an explicitly specified and legitimate purpose.
Unsubscribe: At any time, you can withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure (generally Processing) of your Personal Information by calling or emailing our Customer Service as shown in Terms and Conditions. If you have previously opted in to receiving commercial communications from us, while also becoming a member of our Putuo Village membership, should your membership to such scheme comes to an end for whatever reason, we will not take it as an implication for an automatic request to unsubscribe, and we will assume that we continue to have your consent, unless you specifically unsubscribe.
